Rachel's Wedding, Part Five
Music
My daughter, Jennifer and her husband Steve, provided live music for Rachel's wedding. Thank you Jennifer and Steve for generously sharing your talents!
Jennifer chose classical music for the prelude and postlude. All music was played on the church piano.
Rachel chose Plaisir D'Amour composed by Jean Paul Egide Martini for the processional.

For the recessional she chose The Rejoicing by Handel for the recessional.

Jennifer and Steve sang, "Prayer for Our Home", a beautiful song they wrote the words and music for. I can never can hear that song with crying my eyes out. It is my prayer for my home, too.
We have come together, guided by the Father.
I stand in wonder of God's perfect plan.
Through valleys, over mountains, home will be a haven.
Always sure and certain, in Christ our love will stand.
Lord, take our home, we humbly pray.
Lead and guide each step we take,
As we walk together, bound by love each day.
Your Holy Word will be our guide, as we journey side by side.
In our home, our deepest prayer, may Christ be glorified.
Father, make us stronger, through our family altar,
As we pray together and daily read Your Word.
May we have a vision for our home and nation,
Spreading Your salvation; a lighthouse to the world!

The pastor who performed the wedding does not allow photos to be taken during the ceremony, but I was able to snap a few of Jennifer and Steve during the dress rehearsal.
